That's not really fair. Message boards bring out the negative in everyone.
Sorry, but if the first post is in a meltdown thread there is a good chance its a troll job.

Haha, I hear ya, I wouldn't want to **** the guy off. These are internet tough guys I'm addressing, though.
I was just implying that a guy like Burton is more intimidating of a figure, at least to me.
Ive mentioned a few times that certain players were fed up with a couple that don't give it their all, haven't practiced hard, and just goof around. Well, they made it clear that was not going to be tolerated anymore and McKay didn't like the change.
Team is coming together stronger. McKay has been a thorn in the locker room all year and finally lashed out by saying he's done with it. He subsequently cooled down but the damage is done. Prohm gave the suspension for missed practice and team will decide if and when he is allowed to return.
I fully expect to see a more focused team effort tomorrow.

First of all, thanks for the info. Secondly, you mentioned team fed up with a "couple" of players goofing off. So, we have more than just McKay as an issue going forward? Great.
That matches what my source told me earlier this week, which was that the source didn't think Jameel was going to be on the team much longer. There was no way I was going to post that at the time though.

One guy said "McKay sucks" and that is outrageously bad? Truth hurts. He's playing no where near he did last year and he's hurting the team with his attitude.
He needs to grow up because you can't go to twitter or have your mom call in to your work if you are upset. I hope he turns it around because it's TOUGH watching a young man with so much potential act like such a kid.
Unless they are outrageous comments I'd calm down. My 7 year old talks more trash in his church basketball league.
At least he'll get to rest his knee.
This isn't information. It's just gossip. If he wants to ask CW a question to run with this, he could take it to PM. That's a lot better than letting folks around here start to run wild the way they will with a rumor.
And watch his girlfriend play at Hilton Saturday afternoon.![]()
Literally nobody said that. The point I've been making here is that "info" without sources is gossip, no matter who it comes from.
Since everyone immediately jumped to the McKay conclusion, all it does is spark yet another potential feeding frenzy of threads dumping on one of our guys. I've yet to see a single instance where this was good for anybody, which makes it funny when it turns out to be false.
He doesn't 'suck', though. He was the Big 12 defensive player of the year last season. He obviously hasn't played up to that level this year, but that doesn't mean he 'sucks'. He's still playing at the very least average, I would even go as far as saying above average. Maybe you should look up the definition of suck. & teach your 7 year old the definition of respect and sportsmanship while you're at it.
I think we will still be a 3 or 4 seed without him, it will just be the NIT
Just an honest question.... is WRNL trustworthy and/or connected to more info than what Randy or Hines have? And if he was quitting, why would McKay tweet "1 game"?
