Rhoads had a well-ranked class in 2014 and some great individuals in 2015. Now Campbell is adding this class on top. I think our turnaround is well underway . . . thanks to both of them.

It's likely a couple of these kids are sign and place at say IWCC...but man this staff did an unbelievable job. When was last time we signed 2 DTs and 3 DEs most of them ranked in top 150 at their position out of HS?

Uh, Iowa State has had football prior to 2006. Drink the Kool Aid if you like, I'm enjoying a refreshing glass at this moment, but McCarney had classes in the 30's. If not, then my memory is completely shot.

Yes he did but full year to recruit. CMC did it in two months. Now that's that's pretty good in you ask me

Between the players returning and now this class, I honestly believe we WILL make a bowl this year. It may not be a big time bowl, but ANY bowl is progress. If the team gets there, then you're going to see a snowball effect in recruiting for next year. This staff deserves props for this class, and a lot of people have noticed, not just Cyclone Nation. The future is bright, the future is now, thank you to this staff and CPR and his staff for giving this ISU fan hope again.

Was simply going off of Scout - i know Rivals had us with a year or two that we were higher.... But, in the last 15 years - this is the best class that ISU has ever had according to Scout....previous high was 50 in 2005 and the lowest was 80. We've had classes of 5 in the 50's, 5 in the 60's, 3 in the 70's and 1 in the 80's and todays somewhere around 43-45 by the time the day is done....Impressive!

Yep, we use to be a football school forty years ago or so.

I am thrilled with this class as well, but don't put too high of expectations on this class to impact W&L this year other than the Jucos on campus now. Remember 90%+ of the guys will be redshirting and we will start to see them on field in fall 17 & 18. I do agree though that with the Juco adds and our returning guys that if this staff is half as good at coaching and developing players that a bowl game is very realistic next year.

It will be interesting to see what they do at the recruitment signing day party tonight. The videos done last year were a big step up from previous years. But I expect even more from this staff.
