I would advise against relocating to Chicago. Traffic sucks.

Your comparison is ridiculous. 33.3% huh?! Prohm kept TJ on board who is a great recruiter and had experience recruiting in the Big XII and Pac 12 for that matter. And for the record, I don't give a **** about the Bulls..love Freddie, though, and like Prohm so far as well...

Well said. Even Hermann took Kenith Pope to Houston with him. I can't recall a coach not taking at least one member of his staff to a new job. I bet Rhoads will take a couple assistants with him to his new job, assuming he gets a job as a HC (I'm thinking a MAC school, btw).

Hey, if we can pull away an impact player here and there from Ohio, I'm all for it. I just feel people on here thinking Ohio can now be a recruiting focus are kidding themselves.

Look up and down the Big XII rosters..not a lot of impact players from Ohio to be found...

Every new coach ever has landed players from areas he previously recruited no matter where they go.

Honestly I think he can pull people out of Ohio. Texas has an abundant amount P5 in the state not to mention Alabama, Oklahoma, Louisiana And states close to Texas will be recruiting there so why not try the Midwest?! I'm not saying to have absolutely no ties with Texas but at the same time try to put your eggs in more than one basket IMO

I'd bet there are more Toledo players in the NFL than there are ISU players. Toledo probably has more guys in the NFL than any other MAC school. That doesn't tell you everything you need to know about their recruiting, but it's worth something. Look at their roster this year. Alonzo Russell and that RB named Hunt are both really really good, and they recruit good o-lineman and, more importantly, they develop those lineman. That and QB development are what ISU has been missing.

We just needs players who can play. After that we can worry where they are from.

Seriously though does CMC put his hard hat on every day he goes to derp? And does this CMC machine work with the soft buttery type high schoolers found in Iowa?
