Just a quick update for you guys and then I'm going to get to the game.

I'm now hearing that Toledo coach Matt Campbell's stock is rising while Western Michigan's PJ Fleck's is dropping.

On the surface, Campbell seems like a safe play while Fleck is more of a high risk, high reward type of hire.

Other names I still believe to be in the mix: Northern Illinois head coach Rod Carey, Buffalo head coach Lance Leipold and Georgia Southern head coach Willie Fritz.

Possible candidates: Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo and Montana's Bob Stitt.

Also, I'm sure there is a candidate or two that I'm not aware of.

Fritz is out of the running then?

Campbell would make sense from a religious point of view. I believe he got into a bit of trouble at Toledo for talking religion too much with his players or something? Not saying he wouldn't be a good choice because I think he could be really good, I'm just saying he definitely fits the JP mold, that's for sure.

Chris, do you know if Hoke is in the mix in the eyes of ISU? FS1 reportedly said he is interested.
