That reminds me of one time long ago on 42nd St in New York (before it was cleaned up) some guy walked up and said "yea I could give you some story about needing an operation but the truth is I'm bumming money to buy some booze. We emptied all our change into his palm.

Heh, in Naw'leans for Mardi Gras I came across two people on a bench. They were making out like crazy, just going at it. All the time holding up a sign saying

"Want us to get a room? Help pay for it!"

I was at the cubs game yesterday and there was a sign that said "why lie I need money for cold beer!"

I saw a guy in Vegas with this sign. I happened to be in a van with 12 individuals and two cases of beer. We pulled over and gave him one, the look on his face was well worth it.
