How about this:

"Jamie do you plan on being here next year"
"President Leath, do you still have faith in JP"
"Was TJ ever considered for the job?"
"Jamie, if it wasn't for Leath, how much different would have this hiring process been".
"President Leath, are you the new spokesperson for ISU athletics?"

Prohm gets it - he's focusing on the players this year knowing that success is going to breed success.

Yep. People on here that are freaking out about recruiting need to get real. U have a veteran team sitting in the room with very high expectations....how do you think it would have gone over if he had said " man I can't wait to hit the road recruiting". My lord idiots. Dude is a players coach all the way. He gets it. I'm thrilled with Prohm as our new coach. What will be a shock to everyone is we have a HC that actually likes recruiting. Gasp. He understands that at Isu u win with a mix of Hs, juco and transfers. If he can recruit and recruits well this hire is going to be fantastic.

JW, when you just mentioned that you and Eric had the opportunity to see Prohm's Murray State team play in person during that NCAA year, mention that you were very impressed, man. Don't leave the anecdote/observation unfinished.

I haven't seen Nader at all with the team, has he been around? Maybe I'm just missing it.

I posted this earlier.

You'd be really good at asking questions that nobody would answer.

Disregarding any of the staff speculation for this coming year, I'm curious about how the current staff is handled during these type of coaching transitions. The current assistants are all still under contract (right?), so were any of those coaches at the presser this morning? Or are they typically instructed to stay away from any media things until Prohm's staff is officially announced?

Regarding recruiting, I am sure he will be working on a staff, but may not be able to fill every slot until the Murray State situation clears up. I'm pretty sure he knows it is important to hit the ground running.

Why no ultimatum? If they want to stay behind and apply for the Murray State job... good for them... I don't want them here. Why do we want who Murray ultimately does NOT take? Either they are 100% behind Prohm and ISU or he should find someone who is.

Exactly. He wants to bring someone from his staff at Murray State, but that someone is probably a candidate for the head coaching position there. He's not going to discourage his guy from that step, and can't get in the way of their process.

There are ways things have to play out, and it takes a few days.
