How about reporting nothing? Distributing unverified information is bad enough, but doing so when you know that it's bogus is doing everyone a disservice.

Like who? There's an NBA coach on that list, a lot of solid mid-major coaches. You think a successful major conference coach is going to be looking to jump to Iowa St now? Those types of coaching hires are rare for any non-elite school.

First off...many of you have no idea what you are saying. Underwood is a heck of a coach. Can't believe Archie Miller turned down that kind of money and Florida to boot to stay at Dayton. Lastly, you missed one CW...Dwayne Stevenson associate HC at Mich state. Been with IZzo for decade, arguably best asst recruiter in country, great player development coach, IZZO has raved about his progress as a coach in last few years. He's been to multiple final fours with Mich st and Marquette. Hiring him brings Bridges likely and retaining TJ gets you a staff that might be the top recruiting staff in the country.

Larry Brown (Not enough proof he can coach)

I think I've covered most of them and I don't expect to look outside of that pool because of this roster. I mean, we shouldn't have to since we hired a guy who was "can't miss" with a laundry list of coaching accomplishments.

And they paid him $12 mil over 6 years ($2 mil per). Archie Miller and many others weren't interested. That should be all Cyclone fans need to know.

Do people really think Iowa State is a better job than Florida? Especially when we aren't likely to open up the checkbook for anyone.

Look at Bayerball's post. I completely agree that Stevensen from Michigan State, Chris Mack from Xavier, and Underwood should be the top 3 candidates (after Hornacek).
