I'd heard through the grapevine yesterday that Iowa State has its first 09' commit. A big RB... Anyone know any more intel about this or who it is. Sounded like he was sought after by Iowa as well.

We are already going to have A-Rob and Bo next year. Adding any "big" time RB would just be icing on the cake for me.

It's Iowa, and it's a big, bruising back.

Brad Rogers out of Ohio. Sounds like Ohio State and Michigan are interested, but he claims to be 100% committed to Iowa. We'll see about that.

That's what I was thinking, too. Seems like a snap judgement, take the first offer kind of thing. This will be interesting to follow and see if tOSU or Mich offers.

After watching both his video and Jeremiah Schwartz's videos, Schwartz is a big time stud. He never gets tackled by an arm tackle, has some breakaway speed (compared to the hoks commit) and seriously has a nose for the endzone. JS is going to be a beast I cannot wait to see him pound the rock for us.

Rogers committed to Iowa on his father's birthday. He claimed it was a birthday present for his dad. I don't think we'll see any de-commitment anytime soon.

They are only interested in him as a fullback and he wants to be a tailback. Iowa is giving him a shot back there.

I think ISU may have found a diamond in Jeremiah Schwartz. His high school stats (yards and YPC) are also more impressive than Rogers'.
