Not to derail thread but does anyone else find humor in Boise St having to play at Dayton? I guess the sports gods wanted some karma for all the teams that had to play a true road game for a Bowl game. Suk it BSU!!

Yah my bad. That was one of the teams that I thought I knew where it was, but was wrong. I thought it was Robert Morris of Chicago.

It's going to be pretty tough if Drake remains in the MVC. I just don't think their AD is up to the challenge of competing at that level. They had one magical year when it all came together and then it completely fell apart.

The MVC is usually only a 2 bid conference, and that's only if UNI and WSU remain good. Not many other valley teams have the clout to get an at large bid. Definitely not Drake.

I think Drake will continue being a revolving door for coaches and because of that they will not be able to bring in and retain enough talent to get a solid mid-major system in place.

It's too bad, because it would be really fun to have all 4 teams in. I just don't think it's going to happen for Drake.

I could see them dropping out of the MVC for basketball before I see them contending to win it again.
