I asked for the days off in advance, but was rejected...."we're too busy at this time of year" said my manager....I'll try to listen to the games on radio, if allowable....

I hope your boss yelled "Get that weak **** outta here!" when he rejected your vacation request.

travel comp time? I travel every week for work and have never heard of this... I would have accrued at least a year off at this point....
No kidding. Many years ago we used to get comp time for working long hours on the weekends but those are a thing of the past.

We are having our Chili cookoff at work on Thursday so not much gets done that day anyway. Now you add in the NCAA tournament and it will really be a wasted day.

I am a teacher and this is always our Spring Break so I have unlimited time to watch basketball unless the wifey decides I need to do something around the house. Luckily she is as big of Cyclone fan as I am and tomorrow will be game watch day with good and drink.

normally I work and sort of follow along with the games. This year I'm a busy bee. Trying to overachieve Monday, yesterday, and today to still get me out at a decent time Friday if I take 15 minutes to check in on our game tomorrow.

When our work system was blocked, we use to go across the street to watch at the local hotel.

I'll be going home both Thursday and Friday between 10:30 and 3. I'll be catching NCAA Wrestling championships both days with men's b-ball Thursday and women's b-ball Friday

Combination of leave for ISU and "work" for the remainder of Thursday and all of Friday. May take the whole afternoon off after ISU - or just a long lunch.

Great news is it's spring break and the boss is on vacation the whole week. :jiggy:

Usually take both days off; have for 10 to 15 years now. I was gone all last week though, and warmer weather has made things busier. I have Thursday & Friday off, but I'm going to come in Thursday morning, then go to a local gamewatch with friends. I'll probably go ahead & take Friday off...I'm mostly caught back up at work now.

I would have taken them both off, but I had Monday and Tuesday off with my boys for their spring break. I will be "working" from home Thursday now.

I have 6 days of vacation that are use it or lose it by the end of March. Took some for the conference tourney, doing the same for the NCAA. Love this time of year. I either take off or work from home during the first round every year.
