A bachelor party last summer for a Knox County sheriff's deputy where the groom-to-be was shot with an electroshock weapon, handcuffed, hog-tied with duct tape, oiled and feathered, and paraded through downtown Camden strapped to a lawn chair on the back of a flatbed truck, is under investigation by Sheriff Donna Dennison.

Couldn't they have just hired strippers?

This is what Johnson County Sheriff's Office in Iowa City calls "an average Tuesday."

Except state law says using an "electroshock weapon" is a crime... You would think that deputies would know that... Another example of dumb people + camcorder = criminal charges

I agree, it was dumb... but on the contrary using your arms to punch someone is also a crime... and who hasn't seen friends punching each other excessively hard when they were drunk?

Don't get me wrong, they are idiots who deserve to be punished... but nothing more than a slap on the wrist.
