Since he is on the card, will Dreamy be signing? I have a 1991 State Tournament program I've wanted him to sign forever.

Like others have said, I'm on the fence because of the lack of a scrimmage. If they played a short scrimmage I would be all on board for the 2 hr drive.

If you ever want freds autograph, generally you can find him at the jacobsen building before and after football games, or if you drop it off to the secretary at the bball office, she will get it signed for you and you can come pick it up. Ive done this for tons of gifts ect.

Hey gang,

I will be working at Hilton tomorrow night and here is what I know to answer some questions.

Doors will open to public at 5:30
Students at 5:15 at the north doors. You must have your student ID to get in before 5:30
Basketball posters will not be available until the first ex. games.
You may bring one item with you to be signed.
Coaches will be there to sign as well.
Both Men's and Women's teams will have recruits in the building.
Re-entry is allowed for this event only.

That is all for now. See ya all tomorrow night.

Well shoot, I was hoping for a poster to get signed for my son. Anybody have other ideas for something I could pick up on short notice to get signed?

I don't know if this has been posted or not, and really don't want to read the entire thread, but the first time that the Hilton Madness appears on the Mediacom Cyclone.tv schedule, right now, is Tuesday night at 7 P.M. Central time. It may be available online at Cyclones.com, but that is the earliest it shows on the cable channel. Just thought some might like to know.

How long did it take to go though the signature line?

I brought my wife, 3 sons and daughter 2 hours.
We were half way in the line, nothing moved. We left at 7:45.
3 boys were very disappointed, but they thought the rest was fun.

Does any one know if we can get any of the signature cards somewhere?

Don't know if I would do this again with the whole family again.

Am I the only one who thought the whole thing was kind of boring and not well put together? I expected something much different based on videos I've seen from other schools.

I kinda felt the same way, however I only watched the video, I was not there.

I didn't make it Saturday night but if it was similar to the scrimmages they used to have that ended around 10 years ago, yeah, those were always pretty boring. It was always neat seeing the team and new players, however after about 10 minutes I was always ready to head out.

It was EXACTLY what I thought it would be. I enjoyed it but I basically went because it was an opportunity to visit my daughter. A 2 hour drive each way is my absolute limit. I'll go next year but if my daughter wasn't in school there I probably wouldn't.

It was about what I was expecting. It did seem kind of sloppy. The dunk contest was just flat out confusing. Im not sure how you manage to screw that up, but they did. Is it that hard to give them a 60 second clock to complete a dunk?

Hopefully if they do it next year they don't do it during an away game. It would be cool to have the band there, and in some ways they were competing against themselves. I know I had zero interest in watching the game on the jumbotron. I just like basketball better so I didn't mind listening to the football game on the radio on my way home. However, if it was a big game because the football team was doing well I would have probably skipped the event all together.
