Just once, my dad and I were talking about this during the NDSU game, just once I want to see a call for ISU where I go, "Whew, we really got away with one there!" In all my years, I've never seen a call for ISU that was blatently wrong, upheld and been able to say, "Boy, we really got away with one there."

Hell, it's gotten to the point where an obvious call for us that goes to replay, I'm sure will be over turned.

If the defender was ISU and the receiver was any other team, the call would have been a caught for a first down.

I'm a self admitted homer and I know I've said that before.

Here's why replay and/or the rules of college football are completely stupid.

1. During the Texas game last year it was 100% a forced fumble according to the laws of physics and any rational thought. Call on the field stood because they could not freeze one shot that showed ball out while player was still up. But video + laws of reality and physics made it a certainty.

2. With this fumble we have the conclusive freeze frame that shows knee down with ball...but now it's no longer about the one conclusive frame.

There is no way those two replay decisions are reconcilable with each other. Either Jarvis is down because of the still and Texas wins because of lack of the still, or video is interpreted beyond just a still, int Ksu and George fumble recovery ISU beats Texas.

Lol. This just basically shows how the refs can interpret rules whatever way they want to give the edge to who they want.

If you see that as a catch by West, you are either the biggest homer or havent watched football in years.

My god, conspiracy much.
No I just think that it isn't a very good video I never understood GIFs. Why not just post a video. GIFs almost always are choppy and don't show things clearly. I don't know for sure but I believe a GIF is a much smaller file size so that means the info has to be compressed meaning that it won't be the same quality as a video.

Live it looked like a catch and the guy stripped the ball like an idiot when he was already down... guess what.. thats exactly what happened. I cant figure out why the call wasnt immediate if it was so obviously an interception. I also cant remember ever in my kife of watching football where a defender could oull the balk from a receiver when that defender never had the ball on the catch and the receiver dropped to his knees.

Please show me the rule that states a player must drop to his stomach after securing the ball and dropping to his knees.

Btw that video is sped up... anybody who had a clue can see that. Watched the repkay sevetal times and nevet thought interception in real speed.

It looks like a joke that he even attempts it. Cant wait till an isu defender pulls the ball from a receiver who drops tk his knees.. lol. I bet i know how that will go..

Never seen a call like that in my life and i have watched a ton of football. You need to watch more football.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Do you still think it was ruled a fumble?
Please state where I said it was fumble? Take your own advice.

Lol right after he had both knees on the ground..both hands on the ball... lol Thanks for demonstrsting the receiver had complete control of the ball and the defender did not at all when the catch was made.

Please show me any other interception in the history of football like this one...please... i cant wait for your response.

Some of the denial in this thread is ridiculous. According to the rulebook, it was an interception, whether you like it or not.

Im still waiting for someone to point to the rule that says a player has to put more than his knees on the ground to complete a catch.

Fact:there is no such rule.. as matter if fact receivers deop to their knees all the time and complete a catch without ever dropping to their stomach. The officials screwed up and made the wrong call on the field.

And the booth idiot who has now been suspended is a buffoon.
