That's the spirit - Guns down, bear with it & spit in Bevo's face! ;)

(I'd throw in the one for TCU, but I have no clue what the horny toads say!)

That is insane. Do they basically allow any design in their state? Don't get me wrong, it's cool, but very odd.

Several states do that. I know South Carolina does it. It seemed odd to see a bunch of Alabama Roll Tide plates with South Carolina on them but you can literally get any design as long as there are a certain number of pre-orders.

I've seen a number of plates from various southeastern states that are themed with an out-of-state university

That's really interesting. I haven't seen this before.

I'm getting one for my 16yo daughter's car. I'm bummed because getting one for my future ex-wife's car would mean giving up this one:

How does this work? Do I keep the same license number? Do I have to do anything with the DMV or registration?

I'm not 100% sure. But I think there is only 6 characters on these plates. I'm guessing that means we get a new plate number with these plates.

Or you can customize the 6 characters. That's a lot more money but still an option.

I wonder if they would allow this one.
