No stats but photo with the Italian Select squad (again, from the teams Facebook postings).

There are limited stats in the story at cyclones.com. Pretty much the same as the men's trip a few years ago.

Looks like everyone got to play, and from the stats, looks like the freshmen got to play quite a bit. Would be fun to see a boxscore just to see who got the minutes. Too bad these games are not streamed online. Come on......it's 2014, and I'm pretty sure Italy has internet!

Have to like this quote from Coach F.
“Seanna just continued what she did last year,” Fennelly said. “Great players make big plays. When she is that committed and that energized she is special.”

Also like that Fernstrom got the job done.

Got a good feeling reading that too. Not surprised from what Seanna showed last season. But, GO Fernstrom! - how we need her to step-up out of the gate! I can't believe the Italian Select team is a pushover so this is a good sign.

And I learned it is Maddy, not Maddie, oops.

Good to see our fresh post lead the scoring even if this is an exhibition game. She is supposed to be a very complete all around player. Nice to see 8-10 free throws also to go with those 8 rebounds. Will be interesting to see how she does this year and I am thinking she will be pretty darn good considering she has a pretty compete team around her, not like HS.

Not sure how good a team this Italian Select squad is. UCONN beat them a couple of years ago by 45 points (think it is the same team).

Bell, Durr and Fernstrom will see significant playing time this year, and maybe Rickerts. We will need that to make a run in both Big 12 and NCAA.

Maybe the first year in a while where BF can trust more than 6 players for a rotation. Depth should be a great strength this year. Stacked at guard 2 deep at every position.

PG Nikki - Bell/Jadda
SG Jadda/Bell - Kidd
W/SF Brynn - Durr.

The development of Fernstrom/Maddy could be the difference between a 'just get into the dance' or sweet 16 season.

Very intrigued and excited by Durr. Reminds me of several of ISU's past guards put together. Aus-like.

Maddie will have to get the competitive fire going or she likely will get beat out for the post position by the younger players. Durr will be an All-American before her Cyclone playing days are over.

I don't think there is anyway that Fernstrom is not the starting post. I think Fernstrom and Johnson are locks and everyone else's minutes are up for grabs.

"Starters" this year could be a bad term to use. "First on the floor" may best describe what will happen if the rookies are as good as we hope. Having 3-4 guards, 2-3 forwards and 2-3 posts in a regular rotation would be something to behold.
