Story updated with more witness accounts. Doesn't sound like he intentionally targeted and ran him down, but still not good.

Just showed on Sportscenter. Can see the backend swerve some. Expected to race today and address media according to Marty Smith. Being investigated as an "on track crash". No criminal charges pending at this time.
