FYI, the FCS coaches poll is a joke.

The poll to watch for is the Sports Network poll where I don't expect them to be ranked number one. They'll be somewhere between 2-5.

Can't do that since they installed the indestructible goal posts. Those things will hold up the giant NEZ video board when it gets blown over by heavy winds. We now have to bring Lake Latrine to the goal posts. I'll set up the bucket brigade while somebody else goes and gets a whole **** load of buckets.

I personally think all pre-season polls are jokes. Other than for some fan amusement, they are pretty pointless. Noone knows how good a team is/isn't until atleast week 4. All pre-season polls really do is give a school like Notre Dame a chance to be ranked until they loose their first 3 games.

I've got tickets to watch NDSU lose in Ames and Cedar Falls this year. I predict that UNI will be playing for #1 in FCS . . . in November . . . when it counts!
