So best case scenario out of all the possible scenarios is still only 9-3? I understand that that would be an amazing scenario but 12-0/13-0 is obviously the best case scenario possible...this should be called best somewhat realistic scenario.

That was a fun read.
If can't even imagine this place if we're 6-0. We will joyfully lose our minds.

I am trying to imagine some of the threads on this site if the football program starts 6-0... I just can't do it. Too unrealistic.

I imagine there will be that one thread entitled, "We may be 6-0, but…"

If you figure that after going 6-0 we aren't catching anyone sleeping anymore (see 2002) I can see their point on our ceiling. But lucky for us the second half is easier this time. If we start 6-0 it would be conceivable we could win 4 out of last 6 (Texas and our the most likely losses at that point).

No reason we could go 10-2 with some Rhoads motivation and Mangino magic can't see us beating OU and texas this year though. That would likely put us in a better bowl that we would more likely lose though. So either way we finish 10-3 but this way we go out on top. I think this may be our most favorable plausible scenario. I mean a redneck fever could hit Texas and Oklahoma forcing their entire states into month of diarrhea and vomiting and we go 12-0... but again. Not that plausable.

That would be some amazing journalism right there. Everybody is 12-0 best case, 0-12 worst case.

Seems there's no middle of the road in these scenarios, as the most realistic area is the 4-7 win area, in which Rhoads has landed all but last season.

Agree - if ESPN thinks the worst we can do next year is 3 wins I've got a bad feeling we can find a way to go below that number. Thanks for setting the bar dicks
