Playing a bad SEC team in a fantastic neutral location. Hope we are getting paid enough for this game to cover Hoiberg's raise!

Interesting. I have always liked Frank Martin, but SC is awful right now.

Probably a decent player or two in the Brooklyn area.

Not to mention playing in an NBA arena on what I can only assume will be national tv.

This would be great exposure for ISU in the Northeast. I imagine we will be pulling a lot of kids from this region

I will be a few hours south of Brooklyn during that week. I'm there for sure!

Interesting choice for sure, espcially a SEC opponent (since we already have the SEC/B12 challenge) and it being played in Brooklyn. Curious if this is part of a national double header or something? You would think they would worry about selling tickets for two schools with that much distance from the court if it was a stand alone game.
It is always fun to to watch a game were the opposing coach is Frank Martin and getting exposure in the NY area is benificial so I approve with the move.

Hopefully we can see Hogue go into beast mode in NYC again, and I have no problem with beating both North Carolina and South Carolina in two seasons

Hopefully we still have a big name home/home series set. Our schedule is starting to fill up with name D1 schools. LOVE IT!

My guess... Fred wants to check out the venue before going to coach the Nets. Or maybe he wants to win the SEC title next year?
