Starting to see some chatter about a nice storm coming through Thursday. What's the scoop from the real weathermen/women/its here?

That's the day I'm moving out of my apartment and relocating for the summer. So a good storm should be fun.

Capped Wednesday, but should break it Thursday. Broad scale setup looks favorable for strong/severe storms with the possibility for all severe modes Thursday pm.

But can't really get into much detail past that especially since it's four days out.

Here's the SPC's thoughts. http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/exper/day4-8/

I'm ready for a good old-fashioned thunderstorm.

*once I get done running, no desire to die while running, that would be sad.

Running in the rain is the best! In college when it would rain our easy runs became race-pace and it was epic. Nothing better.

Iowans/Minnesotans... be weather aware today. Severe weather risk for this afternoon/evening. The most robust storms will be closest to the heart of the low and warm front in NC/NW IA and SW/SC Minneosta. Hail, Wind and tornadoes possible. Timeframe to watch will be from about 1pm to 10pm. Probability it he map below is for each event to occur within 25 miles of any one point.
