The O-Line is key this year IMO. If they can protect the QB on a regular basis, the offense could be great.

Now for the defense...

I think Farniok's comments echo exactly what many posted at the time how awful Klenakis and Mess were.

Man, these guys really hated Coach K and Mess. IMO, that suggests there actually could be a significant improvement this year, as perhaps the biggest problem wasn't a lack of talent.

Don't forget many on this board who also blamed Bill Bleil for last year's O-line performance.

Offense could be average. Defense looking to be not good. How does this translate in the Big 12 with lots of points being scored....(just paraphrasing post here) I am worried to be honest. Still hoping for a miracle (6+ wins)

A lot of dislike there for the former coaches. Not going to argue with that, as the offense looked pretty much lost for most of the season last year. Didn't realize that Coach K was such an issue. Mess, well, he was in way over his head and even the most casual fan could see it.

Geez, and to think, some of us backed Coach K for the new offensive coordinator position. So dumb....

Confession: I was one of them.
