Seems to me, we need to be looking at another 125/133 pounder. Since Earl will already be a junior next year and Meeks at 141, seems 133 is kind of thin.

Also think we need some guys in the 165, 174, 184 range. Moreno will be a senior, Molina will be a junior, and Weatherman will be a junior. I think Woiwor will eventually be 165.

I think Cash Wilcke could be one if he can make 184.

DiBlasi will probably be a 157/165 pounder.

The Valencia brothers would be great. One is at 132 and the other is 170.

Above is a couple of Minnesota kids that we could look at. I have seen pictures of Cameron Sykora wearing a Iowa State shirt at a wrestling event. I think he is currently a 4 time state champ in the small division in Minnesota and is a junior.

Dayton Racer has some personal issues at Apple Valley and transferred right before Sections in Minnesota and was declared ineligible to compete at State. He was ranked pretty high nationally.

Can ISU afford to take on wrestlers who may have "personal issues"? Cameron Sykora is a tough in state MN wrestler. From what I can tell, he doesn't have any quality wins against national ranked opponents. I'm not saying Sykora can't be a valuable asset for the Cyclone, just looking at his current accomplishments, seems like he needs to get some quality wins on his resume.

I agree that the big division in Minnesota against St Michael-Albertville and Apple Valley would be interesting. I haven't seen a lot of his individual wins.

As far as Dayton Racer, just not sure the whole story there. Maybe Danny Woiwor would have incite for the coaches.

Well folks looks like NEICyFan has a new name! Post #4, all 4 have been negative toward ISU Wrestling Recruits. You are a trollololololololololololololololololololololo. I will make it my personal duty to call you out on everypost you make.....please go back to cyclonereport and just ruin 1 cyclone wrestling board, or better yet just go away.

I didn't take it as a troll. Not even sure if the coaches are looking at either Cameron or Dayton. And Dayton did have some personal issues that occurred that cause him to transfer right before their sectionals (they call them sections) and ended up being ineligible for State. I think he was ranked #1 at 152 in the big class at the time.

cloneswillwin,
I have no clue who NEICyFan is and I don't care. If asking a following up question regarding a previous post made by another poster, makes me a troll, then you're looking to start trouble. Good luck with your mission.

Sure thing, you have 4 posts, all negative in tone toward ISU recruits.

Let's see what your next posts bring.

cloneswillwin,
I don't care how many post you have on this board, you sound like you need a life outside of wrestling since all your doing is looking for "trolls".

My previous posts were in regards to Boston and he result at the Dapper Dan. If anything I said was a lie (positive or negative) please correct me. I've seen Boston wrestle for almost 12 years and counting, so I think my assessment is pretty accurate. There is nothing I said that was negative, only mostly facts and my personal opinion. If facts come off negative, then so be it, otherwise don't read my post and all is good.

Every wrestler has skills they excel at and things they need to work on in order to become an AA or National Champ which I can only assume their reason for choosing to wrestle D1. If you can't tell the difference between being negative and giving honest assessment, then you should stop visiting all forums.

Since you want to be an expert on my previous post regarding Boston, tell me what you disagree and we can discuss it vs calling someone a troll. You can also private message me if you like, I'll respond. As you quoted "Let's see what your next posts bring".

buf87,
The Prospect Day is this weekend and it's my understanding that invites were sent out and the wrestlers were asked to RSVP. It'll be interesting to see who attends because that'll give us some ideals who KJ is looking to sign on the NLI this spring and upcoming fall.
