Read over twitter this morning that Marvin Clark committed to Michigan state this morning. Initial thoughts?

We better beat Michigan State when we get that far.

But really sounds like we quit recruiting Marvin, so best of luck to him

Not surprising, since he felt ISU backed off the recruiting of him. I would love to see ISU get Anthony Lee, and probably another shooting guard/small forward who can hit the 3 at a 40 percent rate for next year. I also hope ISU is still in the mix for Austin Grandstaff for 2015.

Glad he didn't choose K-State. Would of sucked to see him be a beast in the B12 since we were in a great position with him until we stopped pursuing him.

Somehow losing a recruit to Izzo is a lot better than losing one to another Big 12 school or Roy or another blue blood. Memories of that tourney game keep me from pulling for MSU, but I have a lot of respect for Izzo. Guys seem to stick with that program for 3-4 years too. Good luck to Clark.

I trust Fred

That's fine - we'll take him in a couple of years when he decides Izzoball isn't for him and decides to transfer out. You can only resist Hoiball for so long...

and then typically means, I want one and then I want the other one as well.
