Technicals in last two games caused Ejim to sit on the bench for extended periods of time. Not something a fourth-year senior should be doing.

And, for those of you who don't think we will miss Kane next year, you couldn't be more wrong. I would be very happy with another experienced big guard transferring in next year.

Without Melvin we lose without it being a game...he is who he is at this point. Just enjoy the big 12's leading scorer on your team.

Not nearly as much as his 20 points and 10 rebounds a game helps us.

I suppose the other thread titled "another Technical for Melvin" wasn't sufficient enough?

Ejim still had a huge game despite sitting on the bench for part of the 2nd. him, or his technical, didnt have anything to do with the loss. FT's, 3 point specialists missing wide open looks, and the bench giving us nothing tonight is why we lost. Don't single out the guy that has been the backbone of our team for 3-4 years. he wasn't the problem tonight.

Man, there would be hundreds more technical fouls called if that got called consistently. Can't blame Ejim for unclear and inconsistent officiating standards.

All he said was "yeah, gimme that." Can't blame him for getting a technical without saying anything out of line.

How about you blame our useless bench for not scoring any points? Melvin go a technical for **** I see in every ******* game. You can blame him all you want, you are still wrong.
Spot on with Kane though

This game was terribly officiated. I can see how the players get frustrated, and Melvin didn't even do anything to get called. It was a call that should be brought to the attention of the big 12. Also the call where DeAndre Kane was flagrantly fouled under the basket. Those were calls that were as bad as any I have seen. You don't go to play to have your players brutalized because the refs won't call a foul. Kane knew he would get pounded every time without a call in that game. I am really sick of seeing it, and then having Cyclone fans deny it is happening. How many times did ISU brutalize an opposing player driving the lane? You can't have two separate standards for different teams and then deny it is happening. If that shot had gone in, I doubt they would have called a foul at all, with Kane's head nearly bashed in on the basket post.

That's a ridiculous statement. Getting a T is something you can control. As good as the rest of his game has been, the T's hurt our chances of winning because in addition to giving them 2 pts on free throws in a tight game, we lose Ejim's presence on the court. You cannot argue that it didn't hurt our chances of winning.

"Yeah, gimme that!" was the foul language that got him T'd? Are we going to start calling technicals on players shouting "woo hoo!" next?

S.T.F.U.? Wow, what a brilliant analysis. How about responding to what I actually posted? From your response, I assume that you think Ejim SHOULD be be getting T's and riding the bench instead of being on the court helping the team?

He still played for 35 minutes.
