ISU should not have won that game, honestly. Out-rebounded badly. Missed 10 of 19 free throws. Looked great on defense at times, miserable at others. Lucky on this one. They can't play this way against Texas or they will be in serious trouble.
I'm glad to see Naz hit a few, but still wish Thomas could have seen some more minutes. I also think Edozie and Gibson have to see more minutes to rest Ejim and Hogue, even in the first half of games. They just seem to pick up too many cheap fouls, and today they were not rebounding well at all, especially in the first half. Maybe a little rest in the first halves without being in foul trouble would be helpful.
The other thing that concerns me is that it seemed like all of CFH's previous teams improved in the 2nd half of the seasons....especially last year's team. This one seems to be going the other direction and that is not good.
I'm glad they won......but Texas Tech nearly out-played them, and did in the 2nd half.
