Re: Rashad Vaughn

Yep. Plus, our perimeter game is the biggest problem right now, and with Kane leaving we need Vaughn as a lead guard more than any other position. twocoach should stick to KU analysis.
Don't be lazy. WHY does ISU rely on their perimeter players needing to have good games every game?

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I think if you ask Fred what the biggest need for his team is he would agree with me 100%. Thanks for your sorry attempt at a put down though!

I can promise you that if you asked Fred his biggest need right now he would say Rashad Vaughn

Every team needs the perimeter players to have good games. If you do not have good enough guard play, you will not make the tournament. If you do not have good enough post play, you will not make the Final Four.
Good guard play is needed before good post play even matters and we only have 1.5 Big 12 guards.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Fred said you were a ****. I just asked.
What are you, 12? We've resorted to lame name calling? That's hilarious. This is how most discussions go when one side realizes that none of the facts support their side of the conversation. Keep telling yourself that your team can accomplish great things without a solid post game. Go ahead and ignore the history of the Big 12 and of college basketball in general. It will make next year's disappontment all the more painful.

Our one post was first team all freshman last year and the other one was 3rd team all conference.

There's a difference between "needs the perimeter players to have good games" and "needs the perimeter players to be good in every game". ISU has good guards; they are just struggling since all the weight is on them to provide scoring. Those same guards would play much better if they had a more balanced roster with better post players.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Why, because I am having a conversation about ISU basketball? I am not saying anything on here that I haven't read from more than one ISU fan.

94% of everyone on this board has no idea what a "troll" actually is and will immediately call someone a troll for having a different opinion.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

The only time he ever remotely comes off as a troll is when someone baits him into it, and he responds. He's come pretty close to crossing that line from what I have seen a couple times. But, if you're just having a normal conversation, I don't get the impression that he's a troll at all...

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Of course ISU could use a dominant, skilled big man. Like everyone else. Give me an Embiid clone and I'm all in.

Seriously, though, if the question was who would ISU prefer, Vaughn or Myles Turner, there would be a good debate. However, ISU missed on 2014 big guys so that's not really a question. 2015 I agree 100%, what I hope for the most is a skilled PF/C.

Vaughn will be huge for any team, and you can make a pretty good argument SG is really the only starting spot that's open and is exactly what the team needs.

I'll be fine no matter who we recruit or who wins the games. A fan of another team telling ISU fans how they should feel is annoying as hell. We didn't wake up on 3rd base and assume we hit a triple. We are still trying to steal second.

I dont' care if someone comes on here and bashes ISU basketball. But posting pictures of a crying elementary school kid to prove a point in a stupid internet argument is so far beyond good taste.

Do you have kids? I don't get it. That's just such a **** move.

I can't imagine posting a picture of Bill Self's kid crying as a way to try to make fun of KU fans. Kids are off limits. /rant
