I'm intrigued and put off at the same time with this smoked flathead soup.

A lot of people are when they hear about it. Growing up my family were not the wealthiest people around so we hunted and fished a lot for our food every night so I have acquired a taste for all kinds of fish not a lot of people have. But the soup was made by my cousin the first time I ever had it and I took it and ran with it.

As is customary in my household, I will feast exclusively upon the flesh of unclean animals per the rules of Leviticus.

So probably gonna slow cooker a pork butt, make some of into pulled pork sandwiches and the rest pork pot pie. Maybe break custom and fire up a huge batch of sunday gravy in honor of Mangino joining the team and cook meatballs in it.
