I love these polls. It should say:

"Please make a complete guess as to what a team would do with a player in the mix who we really know nothing about other than what we saw in summer league."

I think we could have done even better if Bill Brasky was on the team.

If only we had a team of Bill Brasky, Chuck Norris, and Mike Ditka we could beat everyone 3 v 5.

True...but if you add in two experienced guards to our team I think it's pretty easy to surmise we win a few more games.

The guy wanted to create a thread and get feedback from those who want to partake. If you dont like it, stay out. Dont harass him for wanting to get some opinions on hypothetical wins. Tough crowd.

Two more experienced guards? Staiger is experienced because he played in the Cap City League? Wow

Why doesn't the poll have any options for fewer wins?

Yep, apparently according to the NCAA he was playing in a league akin to the NBA.

Jeez, it's not like 99% of the discussion on message boards isn't what ifs in the first place.

Never can say Whitey, but I'd think about 3 more. But who knows.

No doubt that Lucca and Mike would have meant wins in some of our games. We lack at this very moment someone to energize the last five minutes of the game - the most important part. We really have no Mike threat to drive through the lane. We have no consistent outside shooter like Lucca unless you count BP. If both had played, I would totally guessimate that we could have a shot at the NIT this year. With Jiri and Rashon leaving next year, NIT will still be a stretch next year.

I have full confidence in saying that Lucca would have been the most experienced basketball player on the court. In germany he was playing witht he best athletes in their country and the way McD talks, sounds like Lucca's basketball IQ is above everyone else.

Why do people need to chime in when they dont like a topic?

How about just ignore the thread if you dont like it. Some people might.
