Does DeAndre need to wear a nametag for CFH?

In the post interview of UNI he said Diante. Also after I think it was the BYU game, he was naming some players to mention and when he wanted to mention DeAndre, and he said what's his name. Does anyone else hear that one too?

I've noticed that too. Pretty funny. Fred is getting old apparently :)

Older people tend to forget names.

Dreamy is still human. After one game he mentioned his eyesight going when he had to put the stats halfway across the room to read them.

I am terrible with names. Wonder how Fred will do with Hok gingers, just go by their numbers? I'm going with Floppy, Little Ginger, and for the slightly ginger, Skeletor.

I'd bet all of the players have some nickname that gets used instead of their proper names. When you're used to calling someone by their nickname, sometimes you have a hard time calling them by their real name. I went by a nickname my parents gave me all through childhood, and even now at 33 years old my relatives have a hard time calling me by my formal name around less familiar company. You wouldn't think John is that hard to remember, but I catch them stumbling on it constantly.

If he calls Kane, Joe Joe Shabadoo, then his name is Joe Joe Shabadoo because he's Fred freakin' Hoiberg.

Not gonna lie, I accidentally said "Diante" a few times the first game out loud..and I'm not even one to mix up peoples' names.

He referred to Monte as "Man-Man" so I think B-H-Phat is correct about CFH normally using nicknames vs. their given names.

I heard start to say Man Man in a postgame interview, but he caught himself and said Monte.
