That is a very well rounded player. I wonder if there are many better in the country right now?
I knew he would be a contributor, but with the way he is playing and driving the ball, Kane reminds me of a Stinson level PG/SG, maybe better with his size.

He brings a level of toughness that has been missing. He believes the rebound is his and that nobody can stop him if he wants or needs to score. This was a very good pick up by Hoiball.

I doubt there are any that are putting up better number across the board.

Napier from UCONN is putting good numbers.

This. We haven't had this level of toughness under Fred.

Might be the toughest guy we've had certainly since Curtis Stinson, if not Tinsley.

He's almost indefensible with the new rules. He is either going to get to the hoop with a high percentage shot, or get fouled.

We really have 3 very high level players on this team now and 3 different guys we can go to at crunch time with Kane, Mel and Niang. Makes us tough at the end of games even with foul trouble and a luxury many teams don't have.

He's the X factor we needed this year. We're tougher than probably every team in the country because of him and Ejim.

Only Fred, Stinson, and Royce have finished with a similar stat line that he's on pace to achieve.

A statistic I also like for a point guard: He's 29 of 47 FG, 20 of 28 FT. Good balance of attempts from field and line. High field goal percentage suggests high-percentage shots (and not resorting to a lot of chucking) and drawing fouls, so he's penetrating (or a threat to penetrate).

can graduated players like kane hold jobs? if not how do they afford to live since they don't live on campus?

Not sure how his graduated status makes him any different in this regard to the other players. He's still going to school just taking graduate classes.
