Looks like Gipson played some too. I'm OK with the purple cats returning to their bottom dweller status.
Not only did he play, he scored 2 points, had 1 TO, and then fouled out in 8 minutes of gameplay.
I think Rodney McGruder was just as big of a loss as well. K-State is lacking scorers on this years team.
Also, I was thinking Rodriguez would be able to play right away at Miami. I was thinking he was a junior that graduated early last year but I must be wrong.
I think that Weber is a pretty good game coach but he sure can't recruit worth ****.
I wonder if the Frank Martin "beat the crap out of 'em" brand of basketball that was instilled in him might lead to a few more games like that for him.
Something tells me KSU might still do OK this season. Definite plunge from 2012-13 seems likely (that should have been expected, actually).

Weber definitely cannot recruit. KSU scored 61 points yesterday. Weber's freshmen could only contribute a meager 33 points. Yes, the Cats really miss Frank Martin's recruiting.
Thank you. I'm glad someone was willing to mention it. Damn I saw some bad basketball and football during my tenure at Iowa State.
If Spradling is still running the point, I can see why they are struggling. I figured they would be down significantly. Their recruiting class's highest grade on ESPN was 79 (as opposed to Thomas at 89 and Morris at 85).
Where's that K-State troll that said K-State (along with Iowa State) would finish middle of the pack in the Big 12? LOL
