I was confused on why they were calling it a dreamlifter but I guess it is the cargo version of the dreamliner.

It is a modified 747 that they use to carry parts from suppliers around the world back to Seattle for assembly.

They regularly fly into McConnell which is where Spirit Aerosystems is to get stuff.

They are going to try to get that pig off the ground around noon with 3000 less runway feet than the plane needs to take off. This ought to be interesting.

This really could have ended pretty badly. It happens once in awhile but really shouldn't with all the levels of protocols that a 747/heavy and tracon controller have. Not good for the pilots or the controllers, outch!
