Well, there are signs before the radar sites showing that the speed limits enforced by automation. Those would have given the sites away.

You're speeding excessively if you're going 11+ mph over the limit on 235 and deserve the fines. The cameras don't issue tickets unless you're at least 11 over.

Be a good serf and send in your money. Who needs to face their accuser? Besides, the revenuers need the money. So they can put up more cameras, so they can employ more people, so they can send out more tickets, so they can put up more cameras.......

How prescient does the movie Demolition Man look now?

Don't speed excessively and you won't have these problems.

I wouldnt necessarily call it excessive driving through there (the speed limits should be higher, imo), but yeah, pretty easy to not get caught going through there.

Speed limit at the cameras is 60mph. You must be traveling 71mph or faster to be issued a citation. The area just east of the cameras is a curve with low visibility if traffic is slowed or a vehicle is on the shoulder.

Amazing how many people I see going over 71 mph through that stretch. There must be a lot of tickets issued each day.

Only if we're lucky. Hopefully that would reduce the number of idiots out there risking the safety of my family. There is no reason to be going over 70mph through town.

There are plenty of reasons to go that fast, mainly emergencies. That is why the speed cameras are a bunch of ****. There is no discretion at all.

I have got 2/3 of the tickets in CR a couple years ago. I shredded them, never had a problem renewing my licensce or plates.

If everyone stops paying them, the cameras go away

So you think that if you have flashing lights atop your vehicle that they won't show discretion?
