that is what I thought, but the NCAA has that special task force evaluating the NCAA WBB tourney, and they were waiting for the recommendations to come back.

Giving regionals to host schools was something I was not happy with - ND, Stanford, Louisville, and Nebraska get to host regionals.

The 2013 sites were announced Feb 2012.
2012 sites: Oct 2010.
2011 sites: Oct 2009.
2009 and 2010 sites: July 2006 (with additional 8 sites in Feb 2008).
2007 and 2008 sites: July 2005.
