The spots were bad all damn game long. Could see it from all the way up in Section B. I haven't watched my DVR of the game yet, not sure I want to.

I was talking to family members who were watching on TV during halftime. They said the refs were regularly spotting us a half-yard to a yard short.....

We got screwed all night long. What makes this so hard is that I genuinely feel like the refs gave them the game. Sure, we had chances and we didn't capitalize on all of them. But, when you have a young team developing, the margin for error is small. I feel like that margin was taken away from us, multiple times.

That is what makes this so painful

If you can stand to watch it.. here's the video starting with first and 10. [edit: if you push play, it should skip to a play or two before the spot in question]

On one of Sam's early scrambles he got right to the first down, but was spotted 1yd short. It was not a case where he slid on the ground. The side judge had no players in his way. It was the worst spot of the night.

I'm not sure what CW is watching there but that spot looks right to me, short of the yellow line and then when Wimberly is on his back he puts the ball above his head on the ground at the 3, but he never actually got there.
