I sit in Section O and there were 3 or 4 Hawk fans escorted out of Section N in the first half by security. Anyone have any details??? Inquiring minds want to know.

Stupid fans are stupid fans. I only had a problem with this woman who said we were in her space (its a hill lady, get over it). Secondly, some middle aged woman tried to trip me when I walked into Jack Trice.

People get so uppity when you sit down next to them on their blanket, ONE nation, people.

For an Iowa vs. ISU game and 5pm kick I was pretty surprised to see how well behaved everyone around us was. The calming effect of watching two terrible teams?

How did I miss this? I was in the middle of section N and didn't see anything. I left to go over with some friends in section D for the 2nd half since a bunch of quiters left at half.

It looked like they were sitting in the middle about 3/4 of the way up. They left pretty quietly.

Not sure if I was in Sec 17 or 18, but there was a pretty pathetic fight about two rows in front of me about the time of the Lowery int. Many punches thrown, no punches landed. However, it was still one of the most entertaining things I saw during the game.

I don't think I saw one single fight the entire day. I was surprised. The biggest fight I saw was myself vs the parking idiots in G7.

Best thing I saw (I tailgated in the parking lot for the entirety of the game) was a golf cart driven by security/police and 2 Hok fans wearing Stanzi jerseys in cuffs riding in back. Truly priceless, just wish I had snapped a picture.

The most fighting I saw was also the first row of vehicles vs. the parking idiots in g7 too.
Some idiot wearing a 1920's -style Hok jersey ran around one of the lots waving a giant Hok flag. Was getting pelted by beer cans (some were full) and other garbage any Cyclone fan could get their hands on. Got tackled at one point as well. But he'd just get up and keep runnin' with the flag. I approached him and was about to say something distasteful to him, but then he noticed me and said "Good luck to you today, sir." So I backed off. Told him thanks, but I hate your stupid flag.

About 25 mins before kickoff there was a hawk fan tackled by police just outside the east gate.
Wish I would have seen the takedown but he was still trying to get away even though one cop had a knee firmly into the side of his neck and other had knee holding his side down and he was in handcuffs.
My buddy (hawk fan) who got me some freebies for the game was respectful and didn't wear hawk gear into the game because his connection was a Cyclone big dog. At one point he stood up and cheered for the first hawk TD and some 5'2 200ish ginger on her 3rd piece of pizza of the game just lashed out at him for not having the balls to wear hawk gear if he was going to come cheer for them. He didn't feel like explaining why and just shrugged it off and laughed. That made her more ******.
