Here come the excuses and close loss bullcrap. You just plain got beat in every aspect of the game tonight. You bring back a lot of your team, but their is a difference between a LOT of players and talent.Oh, right. I forgot Virginia and Maryland were terrible.
I also forgot that Iowa's close losses to MSU (twice), IU, @ Minny, @ UW can now be discarded.
This is Iowa's 3rd double digit loss of the season, and easily the second worst game they've played all year. No excuse, it happens. It's unfortunate that they finished the season with such a ****** shooting performance, but that's life. This is the type of game I was worried about from the get-go, because Baylor seemed to ratchet it up a notch at the end of the season.

Not really. If that's his opinion, fine. Obviously how a fanbase "feels" about a game has no bearing on the outcome.
To be honest, I "felt" based off of Iowa's performance the entire season, that they were going to lose to Virginia or Maryland. So I'm significantly less angry after this game than I have been in the past. Just disappointed that it wasn't as good of a game as I was hoping for.
So its safe to say that Iowa is can be no better than the 70th best team in the nation.Possibly. However, every team Baylor beat on their side of the bracket could be better than Iowa.

Mad Fran didn't look too happy to have the exchange with Scott Drew at the end of the game. Not easy being the first coach to get out-coached by Drew.
