I hope that's how OSU gets knocked out of the tournament.

I know hindsight is nice, but I wish we fouled and took our own chance to win it on a 3 or 2 if they missed a ft. I doubt we would have won in overtime if craft missed that shot.

Zona ran out of timeouts too early......though this time Craft passed it off. It's dutch door action! First he screws me, then he screws you!

From what I saw, tOSU got some calls down the stretch. I feel like teams that have a reputation for playing great D, get away with murder.

I'm not laughing at Arizona. I know how $hitty they feel right now. Screw Ohio State. They should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.

Agree. Also teams expected to win get more calls.

One example in final two minutes....

Craft slaps the ball.... refs call it a toss up.... goes to tOSU

Then Craft gets the ball knocked way on an inbounds, and AZ is called with the foul as they are wrestling for the ball.

This is the second time I've heard thus today. Is this a strategy that any coach in the nation would actually use? I think it's a horrible plan.

that is a strategy that PS3 players use, but it gets you fired in the real world

Knowing the way I felt after OSU did that to us, I am definitely not LOL @ Arizona. Sucks to go out that way.

He did, the talked about it in "Survive and Advance". Pretty much said he was nuts for it.

It is nuts. Craft held the ball the entire last possession. He is an 80% FT guy. He may have missed the front end of those one and ones but stats say he probably wouldn't miss again. You are seceding the lead away.

What does Iowa State as a team shoot from 3? 30-35%? Nowhere near as good as Craft from the line. What do we shoot from 2 as a team? 45-50%? Closer but not 80%.

Also fouling gives Craft a chance to score with the clock stopped. We would have needed to score with the clock going with ~25 seconds left. What if they jammed our play? What if we turned it over? Too many variables on the offensive end to give them free points at the line.

That's an interesting strategy for us to think about but if a coach ever did and it backfired, they would get ridiculed for a long time.

Oh for sure! I would have just felt a lot better about the loss if we would have had our own oppurtunity to win it. Its a moot point if Melvin just gets that rebound.
