I've been worried that this could be a tough game for us. Now, I'm watching WVU coming apart at the seams in Norman. Could the Mountaineers be packing it in?

In conference play, the Mountaineers have not won a game in which their opponent has scored more than 64. ISU gets to that magic number plus a few and wins 73-65.

Im mixed on this. I agree with what you're saying here, the only reason it was close was WVU started just hitting ridiculous shots.

However, our road vs home performance has been wildly different against most conference teams this year. Im not sure you can take any home performance as an indicator of how we'll handle them on the road.

ISU is still averaging about 74 points per game on the road in conference play. The only thing that scares me with this ISU team is close games going down to the wire, and I'm hoping ISU holds a comfortable 10-15 point lead for the last 30 minutes or so of this game.

WVU will score more than normal (10 pts above their avg) due to it being at home, senior night and let's face it, with the exception of last night ISU plays very little defense. Clones go at them hard from the start and keep pushing till the fat lady sings. Roll into Kansas City with some good momentum and a hunger for more.

I agree with this. WVU has absolutely nothing to play for, no NCAA, no NIT. They've packed it in for the year. A win here will make for a lot less nervous Selection Sunday. ISU going away by 20+.
