Blair Walsh is a god. Wish we had him for 4 years. Didn't miss a single 50+ all year and broke the record for 50+ in a season in his rookie year. What a weapon to have.

Look at his stats at Georgia. He was about 60% his last season. Weird to see a guy go from very average to automatic.

12 of 16 games played indoors helps. Obviously not the whole story, as he's been freakin' awesome, but playing indoors and not having to deal with wind or weather is helpful to kickers.

would have been nice to see RG3 beat Luck out, but I guess he couldn't beat him in everything (ie: Heisman)
Guess we will see when Rookie of the Year honors are announced.

Both RG3 and Wilson had the benefit of dominating ground games, ranking #1 and #3 respectively. Luck's running game was ranked 22nd. That could be part of the reason he was chosen.

The Vikings spotted a flaw in Walsh's technique that they believed was correctable before drafting him. He made the adjustment and has been almost flawless since.

I have waatched KO play several times this year and the improvement is amazing. He is extremely quick with his feet and man-handlers the rush ends that try to go around him on his outside....he just pushes them to the ground with his height advantage. He was never that quick at ISU even excluding his Senior campaign when he was "nicked". Give Chizek credit for bringing him North out of Texas.

I watched KO every game this year on Sunday Ticket and it was obvious that guy was really 5 star talent as far as the college game goes.

Not left tackle 5 star but easily as a right tackle or guard.

The difference though is RG3 contributes significantly to Washington's dominating ground game - ~30% of Washington's total yards, in fact.

subtract RG3's rushing yards from their total. Washington is still top 10 in rushing. It's still a potent ground game, a luxury that Luck did not have.

Yea Morris has been one of the best backs in the league this year. The RBs from the Vikings and Seahawks are pretty good too...
