The Big 12 is so up in the air that I think if we get things going, another top three finish might be possible. Have to continue to improve, and I fully expect they will.

agreed. There's the potential for us to really make a splash in conference play.

ISU winning tonight on the road and WVU beating VaTech could really help the conference.

I'd say 2-7 is basically anyone's guess. 1 is easy, 8-10 are easy and in the correct order in that espn ranking.

Nice thing about the 10 team round robbin, by the end of the season power rankings are 100% meaningless because nothing matters but the final standings, that and there's no huge penalty for it like there is in football with all our teams being ranked by voters well below their computer/rpi rankings.

I don't think its a given that KU is so much better than everyone else. They have no PG, they'll lose some on the road this year.

LOL.

Two months ago we were picked to finish near the bottom as we were a supposed unknown quantity.

KL and Clyburn had played D-1 previously. Babb, Booker, Gibson, Tyrus and others were all returning. My thought is they expected the other teams to be better than they are showing.

There is a B12 ranking gap and we need to fill it to help out recruiting.

Funny, now that we are getting more respect than earned at this point, we need to back it up or stop whining when they rank us at 6th or 8th.
