I love peer pressure.

Yes love the fact you have a guy like Lazard being the leader of the next class. Lazard is a leader and a player that can have an impact on this class.

Just like Jake Christensan did with that monster class the Hawks put together. The only difference is this class will actually amount to something great.

It's a long way to signing day, a little over a year, so we are going to have to continue to recruit this one til the end. Definitely a game changer, make us proud Allen!!

I think to show the appreciation we should show up at his first game wearing the cardinal and red. Get him and his team off to a good year.

Don't tell Lazard that! I'm sure it was a factor.

Not many systems don't want a 6'5 athletic freak receiver with speed. Hell, Georgia Tech ran the triple option with Calvin Johnson there.

Georgia Tech would run the triple option with my grandma and two 7-year-olds.

Looks like he will fit ISU's system well. I can't say I've ever seen a team run an offense like Urbandale's though

Urbandale runs a jet sweep offense with a slot back usually in fast motion to get linebackers to move and also to get to the outside. They also run a lot of option and veer/midline. With Lazard their and Augustine at QB might see a lot more passing out of them next year. Should be a good year for Urbandale next year.

Lazard's commitment cannot be understated. Legitimate chance at being a 5 star! Highest rated recruit ISU has signed yet. HUGE, HUGE, HUGE pick up!

That's the point. Tall, freakishly athletic receivers fit any system.

Not to derail too badly, but Megatron never played for Paul Johnson, Chan Gailey was still the coach when he entered the draft and he ran a pro set

Like winning a BCS bowl? Oh, wait.....

And for the record, I can understand why Lazard would commit to Iowa State. Strong family ties there, and the program is on the upswing. The fact that Iowa State runs an offense that skill players like him enjoy playing in (unlike Iowa's 1960's pro-style, which coincidentally is the reason I think they have a great shot w Ross P) probably pushed him over the edge.
