Pierschbacher will not attend Iowa State. That is a pipe dream. I can guarantee you that.

Yeah because high end 4+ star recruits with multiple BCS offers like Campos, Lazard, and Pierschbacher would never consider attending lowly Iowa State. Oh wait...

What would make this even sweeter would be if Lazard could pull a Jevohn Miller and get on campus a semester early. Either way, big time player!

And why are you so sure of this?

Do you follow recruiting? It is my understanding that Pierschbacher has unofficially visited Iowa at least 4 times in the past year, as well as Wisconsin (multiple times), Nebraska, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Alabama. He has yet to visit Iowa State in any capacity. That should tell you something. Not to mention the fact he is a lifelong Iowa fan.....

Who the hell would want to play for someone that just went 4-8 and a program that looks to be headed to the gutter?

To be fair to Mr. Hok Troll, he also included Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Alabama in his post. If we lose Pierschbacher, I highly doubt it will be to Iowa.

Cool story brah. Times they are a changing under Rhoads, I wouldn't say anything is impossible with him. Besides have you seen the beard he is rocking right now? Who could turn that down?

I do follow recruiting. He's also been seen in Ames on game days tailgating with his family and his sister goes here. But I'm sure you *knew* that...

You would be surprised. This isn't an Iowa recruiting thread, so I'm not going to get into a bunch. But I would say early playing time at a BCS school who has been a top 25 program over the past decade, along with a program that sends kids to the NFL at a higher rate than 90% of college programs would be a pretty good sales pitch.

This may be the most excited I've been for an ISU recruit. I have coached against pretty much every kid on the ISU roster that has played for a CIML school and I can honestly this is the biggest gamechanger ISU has picked up from Iowa. The guy dominates HS football like a guy his size should. A lot of times guys will be recruited based on potential and leaves a guy wondering WTH? but this is a great get. Absolutely outstanding.

BS!! Everyone is a lifelong Iowa fan til they go elsewhere. This is horse hockey. You have no idea what you are talking about, like every Iowa fan. He won't be a Hawkeye either.

Actually, he has said in multiple recruiting interviews that he grew up an Iowa fan. So there's that.....

And so would "Come to ISU and spend the holidays with your team in a bowl game rather than going to Iowa and watching ESPN son"

We are. The answer is no one. Almost all of your current commits are taking visits, MR. I Follow Recruiting. That tells you how many people want to play for Iowa.
