now that auburn is irrelevant in the SEC here comes the HAMMER. When they have a heisman candidate and top team, they get left alone.

I wonder what he has been doing with his time, it's certainly not coaching.

If I had to guess... I would say he has been spending a lot of time packing, looking for a real estate agent to get his house on the market, and probably getting his unemployment paperwork ready to be filed.

I wish cytv's (rebaccacy) ego could have held out another day so we could see his Chizik defense here.

Looking forward to the Kentucky investigation when they don't win the title this year....

They were already under investigation for the recruitment Noel. Not sure if that has been completed and they were cleared or what.

40+ 4* recruits, 4 5* recruits and still going to be 3-9. Nice work chizzzz

This is a guy that blamed a program for sucking because he didn't have success. I wonder how he will try to explain a 3 win season with the amount of talent and resources he has at his disposal at Auburn? Will he finally admit that maybe the lack of success was because he sucks as a coach?

I get it. Now that they aren't good, the NCAA can sanction them.

This.

NCAA enforcement is a joke. Collegiate athletics is becoming a joke. It's all one big money grab. Someone said on another thread that the Big 10 is just a cable company that owns a number of athletic departments. That sums it up boys and girls.

I'm getting cynical in my old age.

Wasn't CPR kindof a big deal over there? What if the investigation goes back to another administration? Maybe be careful as ISU has more than 1 tie to that trainwreck... Never thought Chiz is/was dirty. Would never think CPR could ever be nothing other than ethical and honorable... But if you run with a dirty crowd (Auburn supporters) you may get some mud on you.

I'm thinking Auburn has decided it's better to confess to a little cheating and suffer a slap on the wrist from the NCAA in order to come up with grounds for firing Chiz and not have to pay the rest of his contract. The SEC is so slimy it's pathetic.
