I don't think it was play calling, I think it was execution. I'll bet my left nut that Jantz just made some bad reads on the run calls. I'm certain we went more conservative in the second half because CPR just wanted to run the clock down as much as possible.
reading HN thread titles is fun at the moment. But I agree, I only got to see the last quarter and I'm not sure how else we could have tried to give them the win.
Both defenses played outstanding, but we sure piddled a few down our legs. A lot to learn from this one for sure. Great win even if it was ugly.
