How ISU are you?

I have ISU valve stem caps on my truck. They were a gift because it was the only ISU thing they could think of that I didn't already have
Instead of washing just reds together, I tend to wash my reds and yellows together. Mostly because those two colors make up almost half of my wardrobe.
I just bought a Hawkeye garbage can from my neighbors garage sale for $4 and walked home and threw it in my Waste Management garbage can where it belongs.
Excellent work. We all must strive to rid the world of the plague that is the hoks.
It should be noted that while living in Chicago I considered (but did not eventually do this) buying the homeless guy that camped out in front of my office building a Hawkeye Starter jacket one winter. Should I win the lottery one day all of the homeless in wintery metro areas will be donning the black and gold.
Yes sir. It was amazing. Every time I would yell Cyclones she would put her hands up like a touchdown. Pretty soon she would say Cyclones.
I have three daughters now and one of them actually pointed at a women in the mall wearing a Hawkeye's shirt and put her thumbs down and yelled BOO!!
I thought long and hard on this question and started to write a post in my mind and realized that there would be no end to the post. I then thought, the better question is "What part of me isn't ISU?" and the answer is that I can't think of anything about me that isn't ISU.
However, I can reasonably say that my ISU connections go back to before there was an ISU. In doing genealogical research I found, to my great delight, that my great, great grandfather's farm was purchased by the state to become part of ISU in about 1866. He had owned the pioneer farm for quite some time prior to 1858 when the Iowa Legislature officially established the Iowa Agricultural College and Model Farm (ISU).
I have tradition that I have passed on to my children and wife. I would love for you all to join in on it. Every time I see Hawkeye gear in a store. I pick up the next shirt I see, preferably a Cyclone shirt and immediately cover it up. I have done this to whole sections of stores before, rearranging their display. There is no need for people to see those types of things, especially a paying customer like myself.

How's this: my son was conceived around the first of September, 1977. He went to all of the ISU home football games "in the oven" and even made it to the Peach Bowl that year at the ripe old age of minus 5 months old. He was born in May of 1978.
