I just noticed on Rivals that he is no longer on our commitments list. Did he decommit or is it just a mistake?

He did not make grades for spring. It's up in the air. Same thing he did at Purdue.

It's just for the spring. I would expect if he makes grades he will be here come fall.

We only have like 14 commits. Do we have that kind of waiting room? I mean beggers can't be choosers.

It does seem like we're being too choosy, I agree.

I don't know why it's a must for him to be here in the spring. Perhaps they staff feels this guy needs to be here for spring practice in order to be effective or the think if he can't make grades this past semester - he won't be able to make them in the spring and/or at Iowa State - and no longer want to take the risk.

My guess is if a kid cant get a 2.0 in JUCO how the hell is he going to pick up the playbook in 16 practices? His head may explode!

Great....now he'll end up playing for the Squawks.

They seem to need a few receivers for some reason???

Actually he heard that we don't allow cristians at our school without going through a lawsuit. At that time he would have to become Nondenominational Grahm. Then he will qualify.

ok...so now we lose him, probably going to lose a DE to Baylor, the guy we just signed from FL is an academic risk.....an early promising recruiting year is starting to go to he_ _.

In keeping with TCU's stance (don't refer to us as 'Texas Christian' anymore), he should start going by just CG.

Unless we pull off some late surprises, this recruiting class will likely be our weakest (in terms of rankings) in the last 10 years. Hopefully there are some hidden gems in it or Chizik is going to need a few more years to build us into a big time winner. We've been told that last year's class had some hidden gems (Baysinger, Black, Kellman, etc.) so I remain optimistic that the same will be said of this year's class. We won't really know until they get here next fall.
