My friend and I were debating how to discuss a few last names of players on Iowa State. Here are the ones we know fo sho.

Ejim(edge-um)

Lucious (loo-shiss)

Niang (nee-yang)

Okoro (o-core-o)

We were debating Palo. Is it pronounced (paul-o) or (pal-o) or (pay-lo)?

I think you have an answer by now, but it's definitely "Paul" and then "O"

Edit: Or you could look at it as "Pa" (as in grandpa as previously stated) and then "low"

That could be pronounced a lot of different ways. It all depends on how the vowels are pronounced. And if any letters are silent. So I can see how it's always pronounced wrong.
