Ok...so just looking at the schedules...

Assumption: Kansas beats Missouri today

We can get the #2 seed in the Big12 tourney. We would of course have to win out but possible I believe. Not sure what the tie-breaker is for conference seeding....but we'd be tied because there is no way that Missouri loses to TTech.

I'm not sure what we should be hoping for here. If we sneak up to the #3 seed...we play Texas. Stay at the #4 it's this Kstate team. Either way we are going to have a battle. Would be huge to get the #2 seed.

Who else wants to chug a glass of Kool-aid with me?

Ok it's settled. We will do this. So assuming we lose to Kansas in the Big12 final...what tourney seed do we get?

Beat Baylor at home, get #3 seed in Big 12 Tournament. Beat Texas in 1st round, beat Mizzou in overtime to get to championship. Lose championship to KU.

Draw #5 seed in Kentucky's bracket. Beat Kentucky to make it to Elite 8.

We would lose the tiebreaker to Missouri cause it will be based on record vs Baylor, and Missouri swept Baylor.

At this point, seeding has only a limited range (probably 7 to 10 - extremes being 6 to 11).

The larger allure is, what kind of damage could this team do in the tournament?

Matchups are going to have an effect on that. ISU can beat a lot of teams (second-weekend potential), and could do poorly vs. others (one-and-done).
