If I hear another comment about us being "3 plays away from being 0-6", I'm going to puke. I read it here, hear it on the radio, on TV, etc.

First, while that may be true...our team made the plays to give us victories.

Secondly and most importantly, we were 3 or 4 plays from being 10-1 last year. How come we don't get any credit for that? You don't hear people talking about that!

Of course I remember. What I'm saying is that people are talking this year about how we are "almost" 0-6. Using their "3 play logic", we were "almost" 10-1. Neither of of those happened, so freaking drop it.

Actually, this is not far off......on the play at the end of the half, you have to give the NU qb credit for sliding to the left and getting the pass off, but DeAndre was a step from cloberring him when he got rid of the ball to Purify for the td......had DeAndre gotten there, and the officials appropriately scored Austin's catch as a td, the score would have been 14-14 with 8ish left in the 3rd quarter.

I don't like to speculate and look at what-if's much, but as you can see, its not a far cry that these things could have happened!
